Seasonal Art & Embroidery Operator
Learn to use mechanized embroidery machines to personalize garments for Bears and
pajamas for people! This position will also learn to use heat presses, heat guns
and other artwork tools. This position may also design customer requests on computer
within set parameters. Successful candidates will have fine motor skills, high quality
standards and close attention to detail. Must be able to stand throughout your shift.
Seasonal Contact Center Agent
Take incoming sales and customer service calls for all lines of business. Learn
Internet Order Processing, Internet Chat and Email and more! Work in a seated, but
fast-paced environment with noise and other distractions. Must have excellent phone
and computer skills. This position offers either full or part time work with flexible
scheduling – weekends required.
Seasonal Facilities Worker
Become part of the team and help our Buildings & Maintenance department keep the
buildings and grounds looking clean and tidy. Responsible primarily for recycling,
including breaking down and baling cardboard. Must be dependable, prompt and reliable.
Candidates will be subject to background check.
Seasonal Fulfillment Worker
Fulfill orders for shipment. Pick orders, meeting quality and accuracy standards
for Vermont Teddy Bear, PajamaGram and Calyx Flowers. Must be able to lift 40 pounds
and be able to stand, walk, reach and bend for your entire shift.
Seasonal Inventory/Warehouse Workers
Unload trucks and receive inventory. Store inventoried items in correct locations
according to standard inventory conventions. Fill flow racks. Must have strong attention
to detail and be responsive to requests. This position will fulfill both warehouse
and inventory functions. Must be able to lift 70 pounds and be active throughout
your shift. Full time availability required.
Seasonal Shipping Clerk
This position will process and verify packages using a computer. Sort, tape and
load packages. This active position requires lifting up to 40 pounds. Must have
great attention to detail, high quality standards and be dependable.

Graphic Designer/Catalog Production

Job responsibilities include Catalog Layout and Design, developing designs for company
email marketing, website creative, packaging, media marketing, public relations
and advertising collateral. Primary responsible for catalog layout, design and production
from photo shoot to finished catalog.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of solid production experience
- Multi-page layout experience required (catalogs, books and magazines)
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, which includes, InDesign CS3, Illustrator,
Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of pre-press production and file release
- B.A. in Graphic Design or Communication Arts

Sleepwear Product Designer
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company’s sister company, PajamaGram, is seeking a Sleepwear
Product Designer who will be responsible for research, development and presentation
of sleepwear design.
Job Duties Include:
- Will participate in all aspects of Product Development- research into market trends;
understanding and participation in merchandising direction; understanding of the
analysis that leads to decisions on line development; designing of prints, body
styles and packaging for each new product addition or modification of existing product.
- Will organize design workload and all communication with all design freelancers;
ensuring that designs are meeting requirements of the product brief.
- Will create prototypes, artwork, sketches and any other items deemed necessary for
the adequate evaluation of product for inclusion into lines. This includes preparation
of presentation boards in coordination with the Merchandiser.
- Will collect samples and materials for all prototypes and spec packages.
- Must understand garment design and basic production details to adequately develop
products to price points, while maintaining quality standards.
- Responsible for communication of lines company-wide for each season and gaining
buy-in from all departments on new product designs.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is Fashion Design or related field
- 3-5 years in the Fashion Design industry preferred
- Ability to design repeat patterns
- Clear understanding of garment design and production
- Open creative sense and be willing to work in a collaborative creative environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Supply Chain Manager
We are searching for a Supply Chain Manager to implement methods, practices and
techniques to ensure the most efficient flow of materials from sourcing to shipping.
This position is responsible for sourcing, quality control, warehouse management,
order fulfillment and shipping. Our ideal candidate must have a proven track record
of driving positive company results through strategic negotiations, controlling
costs and inventories, forging strong vendor-partner relationships and implementing
processes to support current and future business opportunities. Must be committed
to continuous improvement and have the ability to supervise, train and coach others.
Job Duties Include:
- Responsible for managing the sourcing/procurement of materials, supplies and services
- Manages supply base to include vendor selection, contract and price negotiation,
on-time delivery and supplier conformance to product specifications
- Develop SOP’s to optimize operational efficiencies and ensure most advantageous
pricing and quality from vendors
- Lead teams in identifying Supply Chain capabilities, plan resources and timing in
support of the organization’s seasonal initiatives
- Accountable for defining and implementing all inventory strategies in support of
internal operations
- Direct and coordinate the activities of department personnel to provide uninterrupted
flow of material from receiving to inventory, to fulfillment, to shipping
- Ensure efficient and economical utilization of materials, timely deliveries from
suppliers, improvement of methods and elimination of wasteful practices
- Participates in Supplier negotiations and mentors sourcing team on negotiation techniques
- Drive continuous improvement to documented processes and procedures
- Responsible for participation in the development of strategic planning and implementation
for Materials Supply Chain procedures
- Support continued development of tools to streamline systems that provide bird’s
eye view of staffing levels on immediate notice
- Evaluate systems for gains in efficiency
- Anticipate bottlenecks and work with departmental managers to reduce their impact
- Watch order flow pace and predict the outcome of pacing on the totally daily volume
Job Requirements:
- 4 year degree in related field required
- 10 years of specific experience in a Supply Chain management position
- CSCP Certification Preferred
- Expert Negotiation skills required
- A lean thinker with proven success in inventory and cost reduction and the implementation
of best practices
- Outstanding interpersonal/verbal communications, written communications, and follow-up
skills with demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead and influence key stakeholders
across organizational boundaries to achieve business results
