are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer. (This is a full-time, on-site position.)
Job responsibilities include Catalog Layout and Design, developing designs for company
email marketing, website creative, packaging, media marketing, public relations
and advertising collateral. Primary responsible for catalog layout, design and production
from photo shoot to finished catalog.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years of solid production experience
- Multi-page layout experience required (catalogs, books and magazines)
- Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, which includes, InDesign CS3, Illustrator,
Photoshop, Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of pre-press production and file release
- B.A. in Graphic Design or Communication Arts

Sleepwear Product Designer
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company’s sister company, PajamaGram, is seeking a Sleepwear
Product Designer who will be responsible for research, development and presentation
of sleepwear design.
Job Duties include:
- Will participate in all aspects of Product Development- research into market trends;
understanding and participation in merchandising direction; understanding of the
analysis that leads to decisions on line development; designing of prints, body
styles and packaging for each new product addition or modification of existing product.
- Will organize design workload and all communication with all design freelancers;
ensuring that designs are meeting requirements of the product brief.
- Will create prototypes, artwork, sketches and any other items deemed necessary for
the adequate evaluation of product for inclusion into lines. This includes preparation
of presentation boards in coordination with the Merchandiser.
- Will collect samples and materials for all prototypes and spec packages.
- Must understand garment design and basic production details to adequately develop
products to price points, while maintaining quality standards.
- Responsible for communication of lines company-wide for each season and gaining
buy-in from all departments on new product designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is Fashion Design or related field.
- 3-5 years in the Fashion Design industry preferred.
- Ability to design repeat patterns.
- Clear understanding of garment design and production.
- Open creative sense and be willing to work in a collaborative creative environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Kaledo Style or other similar CAD software.

Website Content Coordinator
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is seeking a Website Content Coordinator to create
and maintain our product and content for our busy and award-winning ecommerce stores
and other websites.
Job Duties include:
- Responsible for the coordination of product and content information, in conjunction
with other departments (including Merchants, Inventory, Call Center, Graphic Design,
and IeT)
- Adhere to department and Company style guides, ensuring copy and information standards
- Develop, maintain, and publish a coordinated calendar of product and content updates
to support intra-departmental communication and coordinated deployment of products
and content
- Maintain Virtual Bear-Grams and assist Customer Service in answering customer help
questions
- Maintain Bears on The Air and assist team in answering supports questions
- Maintain and support departmental teams in VTBC intranet maintenance
- Assist with website development projects as needed
- Responsible for adherence to VTBC’s departmental and corporate policies and procedures
in maintaining product and content

Help Desk Specialist
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide primary
support for Vermont Teddy Bear employees and onsite contractors. Act as a primary
back-up and provide assistance for our Network/Telecom Manager.
Job Duties include:
- Help Desk
- Provide first level support for VTB employees and onsite contractors for PCs, phones,
voicemail, and applications
- Develop and maintain documentation in support of Help Desk responsibilities and
tasks
- Equipment- PC, printer, copier, fax
- Coordinate maintenance and service for printers/copiers/faxes for VTBC, including
toner purchase/replacement
- Network Administration
- Create and maintain network accounts
- Change passwords, group memberships, distribution list membership, etc.

- Coordinate all warranty replacements and equipment maintenance

- Assist w/ setup and certification of agent PCs/phones prior to training sessions

The Vermont Teddy Bear Company is seeking an experienced Application Developer to
join our team. The main responsibilities would include but are not limited to developing
and managing implementation efforts in support of initiatives for enterprise and
departmental applications. Develop and maintain integration solutions and support
for packaged software applications.
Job Duties include:
- Plan and manage application software integration projects
- Develop and support integrated enterprise and departmental applications software

- Experience programming with MS .NET, MS Access, Visual Studio, VBScript
- Understanding of technical aspects of web site development and experience programming
with PHP, C#, Java, Perl/CGI, SQL, HTML, XML, Web Services/SOAP, Open Source Solutions
- Relevant experience as liaison with vendors for vendor-based solutions
