Inventory Controller
Do you have an incredible attention to detail and enjoy math, organization and working as a team?  If so, we’ve got the job for you!  The Vermont Teddy Bear Company and its sister companies, PajamaGram and Calyx & Corolla, is seeking an Inventory Floor Controller.  This position is responsible for all inventory movement from warehouse to order fulfillment lines.  Will participate in inventory-related functions (cycle counts, bulk packing, returns processing) and work independently as well as part of a team.  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be forklift-certified or eligible to become so.  The ideal candidate will have solid math and computer skills.  Background in Warehouse or Inventory work a plus, but not required.

Catalog Circulation Coordinator
Are you looking for a great opportunity for growth? Vermont Teddy Bear and our two sister companies, PajamaGram and Calyx Flowers, are looking for a detail-oriented, self-starter to support the execution and success of our catalog marketing program.  Job responsibilities include assisting the catalog manager with all circulation responsibilities: circulation planning and analysis, sales forecasting, budgeting, list management, coordination of time-critical work and data flow with service bureaus, printers and other vendors, developing and maintaining project timelines, and tracking and reporting campaign costs.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be proficient in Excel, have strong organizational and communication skills, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and possess the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.  Previous catalog or direct marketing experience is a bonus, but not required.

• Create graphics for websites.
• Work with catalog team to ensure that the proper photography is shot.
• Become involved in social media channels to increase and extend online presence.
• Design and produce assets for email marketing and other electronic advertising.
• Stay current on best practices for design and implementation of email marketing messages.
• Assist in production and site maintenance as requested.

Requirements:

• 4 year college degree.
• At least 5 years web design experience preferred.
• Proven proficiency in DHTML and image processing for the web.
• Experience with social media and word processing software required.
• Strong design, communication and organizational skills

Senior Website Applications & Content Developer
Are you a web whiz? Looking for a fun and engaging atmosphere to use your advanced web skills?  The Vermont Teddy Bear Company and its sister companies, PajamaGram and Calyx & Corolla, are seeking a Senior Website Applications & Content Developer to design and maintain web application code, dynamic content, and the advanced features of the Company’s websites.
Job Duties include:

• Add, change, and delete content by updating text and image files, template code, data in databases, and software-specific fields.
• Perform content and application feature updates to the sites.
• Develop requirements, implementation plans, and test plans.  Carry plans through to completion.
• Develop a working knowledge of our systems and software.
• Demonstrate a mastery of web development tools and technologies.
• Assist with the integration of third-party content and applications accessed through links to our sites.
• Work with IT to ensure proper integration with all back end systems.
• Use tools/applications such as Access, SQL Server, SSIS, MySQL, and Application Code to manipulate data in an effort to automate/streamline website updates..

Requirements:

• 4 year college degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
• At least 5 years in a web related programming position.
• ASP.Net experience required.
• Experience in business-to-consumer e-commerce environment is preferred.
• Must possess mastery of Internet coding technologies, software development principles, Internet protocols, Internet security, Relational Database design and management.
• Ability to manage workload independently.
• Excellent communication, creative and organizational skills required.

Product Developer

Responsibilities to include:

• Participation in all aspects of Product Development.
• Research and understanding of market trends.
• Creation of artwork, sketches, prototypes and any other means necessary to convey a clear understanding of idea to both merchandising and technical design.
• Aid in the creation of product specs.
• Understanding of costing aspects of all products and responsibility to design within set parameters.
• Position includes the opportunity to work on multiple products, across multiple brands.
